This project was completed through multiple design classes between my junior and senior year. The project challenged me to develop creative visual ideas and concepts within strict client limitations. The assignment asked for two album cover designs based on a random method of selection, Including a random selection of a word, phrase, and a single picture used to make the band’s name, album title, and imagery. The album’s style and band’s backstory was on the student to improvise to make the album’s and bands genre flow with the random image. This project was a brief introduction to packaging design and combined photoshop and Illustrator to create the fictional band’s freshman and sophomore album designs.
