This project was done my junior year in a design class where we had to choose a notable novel that could use an updated look utilizing a visual metaphor to best represent the book’s content. I chose 1984 by George Orwell due to it being one of the more memorable and impactful books I have read up to that point in my life. The cover provided an opportunity for me to put the reader’s mind inside the story even before they turned the first page. This project was executed in primarily illustrator and mocked up in photoshop.
